Recently in Scrapland

Hello all! It has been a hectic week around these parts so I wanted to give you a quick recap.

First up is Glitz Design. This week my group focused on triangles! Possibly my favorite shape. I tried to use a visual triangle to guide the layout with literal triangles as my paper element. For my bright angled layout, I used the Finnley Collection and boy, do I have a serious scrap-crush on this kit. The background paper really makes my knees weak, dripping paint and polka dots all in one, sold!

Next up is Peppermint Creative. Miss Mint has recently release a lovely fall kit, Cinnamon Spice which also has a matching LIP kit to go with it. You can pick them up currently bundled together at a great discount, but hurry on over because this price will probably not last long.

The great mix of elements and pattern papers made this page come together very easily. If you have seen many of my pages, you may notice i am a huge fan of neutral papers and this kit uses my favorite taupe/tan color. I love the lace-ish trim, it adds an extra texture and a little bit of softness to the final page. In fact, I was so pleased with how this page turned out, I decided to use the same kit for this months PMP template.

If you haven't been playing along, every month one of the Creative Team Members (Minty Chicks) creates a new template. For the month it is a free download and if you create a page with it, post it in either the Facebook Group or the Peppermint Creative Gallery, you could win a giftcard to the store!
...........

Last but never least, Celeste Knight & Sweet Caroline Studios.  Last week's Featured Fave Sunshine is an older kit that has been re-released, you may already have it in your stash. It has Celeste's signature hand drawn look and a slight watercolor effect to the papers, an easy favorite.

To go along with this page, I also have a new post up on the blog with step-by-step instructions on how to use a single file .png alphabet that does not come with the letters separated, Alpha Sheets: Mystery Revealed.
...........

That about wraps up the re-cap. I can't wait to show you what new products are in the works from my favorite ladies, they have really been working hard. Stay tuned for future sparkly wonders!
